This term has been filled with unforgettable sporting experiences for our pupils at Krishna 麻豆国产AV Primary School, Harrow. From football to cricket, our young athletes showcased teamwork, enthusiasm and incredible sportsmanship.

Girls鈥 Football Tournament at The Hive Stadium

On 11th November, our girls鈥 football team proudly represented the school in an exciting tournament at The Hive Stadium. Competing against 29 other schools, they played four matches and gave an outstanding performance鈥specially impressive as it was their very first competitive experience.

Principal Mrs Shriti Gadhia praised the team, saying: 鈥淲hat stood out most was their change in mindset. The girls showed remarkable focus, determination and teamwork. They organised each other on the field, encouraged one another, and demonstrated excellent pupil leadership skills.鈥

During breaks, the team huddled together to reflect, discuss techniques and think about how they could improve, showing maturity and a real eagerness to learn. Parent supporters added to the fun, with cheering, encouragement, and plenty of smiles all around! It was clear that the atmosphere boosted their confidence and brought out their best performance.

Cricket Tournament at Harrow Sports Centre

Our young cricketers also had an exciting day at Harrow Sports Centre on 19th November, taking part in a tournament that highlighted both skill and sportsmanship among local schools.

The children fully embraced the experience and shared their thoughts:

鈥淭he hall was full of cheering.鈥
鈥淚t was a great experience to see how talented other schools are, because we thought we were the best!鈥
鈥淚t was really fun playing in a different environment and mixing with other people.鈥

Their words perfectly capture the spirit of the event. Sport is not only about winning, but learning from others, building friendships and challenging ourselves to grow.

The children returned to school full of pride and excitement, eager to share their stories. They are already counting down the days until their next tournament! Both events created lasting memories, strengthened team bonds, and inspired our young athletes to keep learning, keep trying, and keep enjoying the wonderful world of sport.
